Ps3 are going against the elite really badly as they now have made a new ps3 (ps3 slim ) the cost they say is a lot cheaper but its still £249 ....

Sony announced the other day that everytime someone buys a PS3 (Normal and slim) they will loose money.

 

Also, Xbox is now slashing all their prices:

Microsoft's just-announced price cut for its Xbox 360 Elite gaming console hides another one; the 360 Pro is also going down in price in UK although not officially and while stocks last before the SKU is officially abandoned.

 

The official retail price of the Xbox 360 Elite dropped from £229 to £199 this morning.
